Asturias Real was a project undertaken as part of my Civil Engineering degree thesis. In this project, I assumed the role of BIM Manager for a team of 12 coworkers. The team composition included a BIM coordinator, two geotechnical engineers, two structural designers, two MEP specialists, two environmental leaders, and two budget engineers and a BIM Manager.
The project's aim was to collaboratively develop fundamental engineering designs, encompassing geotechnical, structural, hydrosanitary, sustainability, and socio-environmental aspects. This encompassed the creation of bid and/or construction documents necessary for the physical construction of spaces within the "Asturias Real Residential Complex" project. The implementation of the BIM methodology was integral to this project, aligning with the client's sustainability requirements.
Project Length: June. 2020 – July. 2021
This informative website is a condensed version of the complete project. In this particular case, the focus will be placed on the collaborative efforts of the team members who held the roles of BIM coordinator and BIM Manager.
